From the moment I started chatting with Belle about her college spring senior session at Radford University, I just knew it was going to be a fun time! She sent me so many amazing outfit choices and ideas for her session and I just loved helping her choose the best ones that matched her personality AND would be great for the camera. What most don’t realize is that a photography session, after you graduate college, is amazing for your job search because it means fresh headshots for your social media and linked in profiles! Its also an opportunity to recognize all the hard work you have accomplished in the years before!
Belle had SO many amazing things she wanted to incorporate into her session, she was so excited! When my seniors are excited it makes the session that much more fun! We walked around the campus with her lovely mom, Hope, and captured Belle’s beautiful joy! Cap and gown was a must along with her sweet pups Bella (or Bean for short). We literally went until it got dark out! I never shoot in the dark for sessions but we really wanted to include confetti into her session! Along with the Radford sign, the fountain, buildings, a sign she brought, and her other outfits! To say it was a jam packed session is an understatement! It was all so worth it.
Belle interns at a radio station and graduates with communication and marketing this May! She plans on having a full time job there for their social media management and I wish her the best of luck! She is kind, smart, funny, bubbly, and just so much fun to be around! She is the modern day Elle Woods and you’ll see what I’m talking about when you scroll down!
Belle’s first outfit was one of our favorites! I mean her pink bubble earrings and those lace sleeves are to die for!
Now this is where Elle Woods comes into play. The nails, the pink dress, and the dog all scream a successful and bubbly woman! Plus her dogs matching dress is just darling! These below are probably some of my favorite images from the whole shoot!
Last but not least the cap and gown! The fountain at Radford University seems to be the spot where everyone loves images! I love how elegant the building and the fountain makes the images and her red dress just POPS off the background! I’m in love!
Now this is when it got super dark out! I normally wouldn’t post any of these but they turned out so cute I just had to! The look of the photos makes them almost look film like which I actually love! I wont do this again because I always love color and pop but these turned out great for almost being pitch black! Plus that confetti shot is gold.
