Most of the photography knowledge I have gained is from other photographers I follow online! BUT I randomly decided early in my career to take some photography courses at a local community college. Thats where I met my professor Sara! She was creative and catered to everyone so kindly. I loved getting to chat with her about photography and she quickly learned I wanted to learn more than just the basics.
Sara is Alyssa’s cousin! And to make it an even smaller world I went to High School with Justin! So when Justin and Alyssa hired Sara to photograph their wedding, Justin contacted me to help along with the wedding in case Sara needed to cater to her daughter whom happens to be the flower girl! Did I mention this world is so small?
I was so excited to take portraits of the couple at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe, MI. Last time I was there was for prom so I was excited to make new memories! But I was even more excited to meet the girl that stole Justin’s heart! And she was the sweetest and funniest person! Plus she makes Justin smile so big, which is always the sweetest.
I had so much fun walking around the Ford property with Sarah, her husband Brian, Alyssa, and Justin! We battle the cold, wind, two photographers posing, and balancing on logs for the perfect shot! They were so easy going and pretty much let me and Sara do whatever we wanted with them! I love when clients are so trusting knowing we have a vision for their portraits that will make them so happy! I’m so thankful we had the opportunity to work together, I got to see Justin again, and meet his future wife!
Check out so many of my favorites below that I was so honored to be apart of:) Alyssa’s laugh and smile was so contagious!
